Curriculum
Lessons are based on the interests of students
Students will…
- Select songs from any genre familiar to the student for them to focus on
- Learn new techniques and incorporate them into familiar songs
- Discuss general music theory
- Use their voice through singing to help with their development on guitar
In-studio Lessons
In-studio lessons are led by Jim Loyd. Students meet weekly with the instructor to review the weekly lesson, progress further into their semester song, and learn new theory terms and techniques. All of this is done from the studio in Inola, Oklahoma.
