My 10-year-old son has been taking private piano lessons from Justin for 2 years now.  Justin Martin is such a talented piano player, and we first became familiar with his musicality at church.  We feel so blessed to have Justin as an instructor for beginners because he is systematically working with our son through the same proven curriculum that he used when he first started.  Justin drives all the way to our house, and is always flexible with schedule changes.  He is amazing with kids!  So patient, kind, and joyful.  He is always able to make our son smile and encourage him through periods of low motivation.  And Justin challenges him to push beyond his comfort zone to play pieces of music that are inspiring and confidence boosting.  We couldn’t be happier with Justin and we pray our son will one day play the piano as good him!

My daughter has taken piano lessons from Mrs. Sarah for two years and has really grown in her ability to read and play music. She looks forward to her lessons each week, Mrs. Sarah is very encouraging while still challenging her students to meet her expectations and improve each semester.

My daughter was a delayed reader in early elementary. She had an IEP for reading needs and speech therapy needs. I started her on piano lessons with Sarah toward the end of her first grade year. She passed the reading test at the end of 3rd grade. In 4th grade, she no longer qualified for an IEP. She is taking AP courses in high school and she is in the National Honor Society. She’s added guitar lessons. She plays clarinet in marching and concert band and alto saxophone in jazz band. She will be the piano accompanist for the high school choir this year. Sarah is already preparing her for piano audition requirements for college. I can’t say this enough: encourage your student to try music!
